In 2007 Fertoing continued to strengthen its presence in different regions of the Russian Federation and diversify services.

We developed a new business line connected with marine transport facility design particularly preparation of technical specifications for dredging.

As in previous years, we built up cooperation with the branches of the FSUE Rosmorport throughout the Russian Federation. Significant amount of work was performed in the sea port of Ust-Luga. In St. Petersburg and Murmansk we carried out hydrographic works in approach channels and harbours, monitored dredging operations in St. Petersburg rivers and channels as well as construction areas of the passenger terminal Morskoy Fasad (Port of Saint-Petersburg). Fertoing provided complex engineering support to dredging operations during construction and commissioning of the access channel to the C-1 navigation pass complex of the St. Petersburg Flood Protection Barrier.

In 2007 the company started repairing hydraulic structures, elaborated design documentation and repaired the berth №72 and 74 front walls in the Seaport of St.Petersburg.

The same year, the company performed complex hydrographic works far away offshore in order to survey the operating base for the floating drilling facility Obsky-1, the Gulf of Ob. This project can be called “pioneering” for Fertoing as an engineering service supplier in the course of Russian offshore development.

At the year-end, Fertoing strongly dominated the market of hydrographic services.

We completed works according to 101 Agreements in the ports of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Vysotsk, Vyborg, Murmansk, Kaliningrad, Arkhangelsk, Yamburg, Lomonosov, Kronstadt.

Our team in the engineering survey and hydrographic departments consisted of 39 people.
